Throwaway Montage

Here is a collection of footage that is not getting used for anything. I will be posting more of these montages as I film more unusable tricks. This is a collection of footage dating back to late 2006 to early 2008. Enjoy the clip.

4th of July Montage #2

Here is another clip from the 4th of July skatepark. I didn’t film, or edit any of this clip. It was submitted by Tyler Campbell who recently just got a Canon Gl2. Be sure to check back for more clips from him in the future.

Mount Airy Skate Day

Mount Airy currently has no skatepark, and they produced this event to raise money to get a skate plaza built. A lot of local and out of town skaters showed up with a whole lot of support.
Filming: John Evans, Spencer Pickle

Battle Of The Shops

This contest brought a variety of teams from all over the east coast to Project 58 to rip the park to shreds, and that’s exactly what happened. Vertical Urge came out on top for the second year in a row.
Filming: John Evans, Phelps

YDG Montage

YDG, located in Graham, NC, has been running for a little over two years. Here is some footage compiled from a best trick contest, a rainy weekend, and random days at the park.
Filming: John Evans, Daniel Roberts, Tyler Campbell, Tommy Malekoff

Split Demo

The Split team rolled through North Carolina and made a stop at the Eastern skatepark, and their second stop was at YDG. They showed up ready to skate, and that’s what they did. Their was a real good turnout for the demo, and a lot of free product was given away. Enjoy the clip.

4th of July

4th of July is the public skatepark in Kernersville. It opened up the summer of 2004 and has had great success since. Two competitions are held yearly at the park, and this year had the best turnout. Here is some footage of the locals shreddin it up.

Montage 18

This montage has been a long time coming and is a compilation of footage from the beginning of summer to the beginning of fall. A variety of skaters from North Carolina and other parts of the East Coast are featured.
Filming: John Evans, Tommy Malekoff

Birds Of A Feather Throwaway

Tommy and his crew have been holding it down in Greensboro. They’re all working really hard towards this video. He’s came across a lot of unusable footage, and that’s where this montage comes into place.

Edit Skateboards

You thought Edit was over, but this goes to show that they are still pushing hard. Chad recently moved back to Raleigh to get back into the scene. An Edit site is currently in the works, should be up sometime soon.

Birds of A Feather Commercial

You saw the promo, now here’s the commercial. Just another little sneak peek of what you’ll be seeing in Birds Of A Feather. This video will definitely will be a must see when it comes out.

Birds Of A Feather Promo

Here is the promo for Tommy Malekoff’s new video, Birds Of A Feather. Featuring: Drew Hanner, Aaron Pennington, Trey Justice, and Anthony Alcantara. The video should be completed around the fall of this year.

Montage 17

It’s been a while since I have done one of these. After Our Life was complete the footage started rolling in. Then i sold my camera and bought the Dvx100 with the fisheye. Here’s a compilation of a few months of skating, and camera switches.

Old North

A clip brought to you by Spencer Pickle. He recently bought my gl2, and has been out getting used to every aspect of filming. As you can tell they get busy on the backyard ramp. Enjoy the clip.

Short ramp montage

The ramp is always a must during the week. One day I was over, and we decided to not go skate anywhere. So we hopped onto the ramp, filmed some tricks, and this is what i came up with. Enjoy some shots of 24p, more of that to come later.

915 Skatepark Montage

Heres a little clip from the infamous Greensboro park, 915. This is a collection of skating from the harsh cold front we had. Brought to you by yours truly, Tommy Malekoff.

Premiere #2

Another memorable night this was. A lot of kids packed out Creations before the premiere started. Lots of good tricks went down before and after. Enjoy the clip.
Filming: John Evans, Tommy Malekoff

Creations Montage 5

Thanks to the weather cooling off the park has been heating up almost everyday. Here’s some footage from the best trick contest and just some random sessions. Enjoy

Premiere #1.

What a night it was at 915. A lot of people showed up, definitely over a hundred. The mini ramp was packed out and then some. Thanks to everyone who showed up. Special thanks to Tommy for editing the clip, and Billy for hooking up the projector.

With the video being done, you always have tricks that weren’t used. Here’s some recent tricks done after completion, and some during the filming for Our Life.
Filming: John Evans, Tommy Malekoff.

Riverfest 2006

Montage 15

The last few months have been hectic trying to finish up parts for the video. This is definiely an over waited montage, I should have already put it up. But, I havent had the time, so here is it for you. Enjoy.

Summer is here, and so is new footage. Everyone is progressing and trying to get last minute tricks for the video. Here are some of them we aren’t going to use. Sorry for the shortness.

It’s finally here, sorry for the wait. All the footage we get now is mainly for the video. Here are some tricks that I have filmed over the last couple of months.
Filming: John Evans, Corey Hawks

Montage 12

Took me long enough, I know. It’s hard filming for a video and montages at the same time because everyone is starting to get serious. So whatever we get is what i’ll put on here. Sorry if it’s not the best skating, Enjoy

Creations Montage 4

The Contest DVD is taking too long to edit because of other things that pop up. So here’s the Bonus Montage from the DVD that should be out sometime. A lot of good skating is inquired in this clip
Filming: John Evans, Ben Sink

Reuben's Ramp Montage

A big ramp jam at Reuben’s last month, all filmed in one day. I finally got around to editing the footage. It’s something different that I have always wanted to do because of the sheer shredding that goes on at the ramp that no one knows about. More to come

Montage 11

My first montage without a indie song. Filming for montage’s and a video is hard and takes longer than usual. But I think this one turned out alright. Enjoy

Filming: John Evans.

Right after the site went down I edited this montage. I didn’t expect it to be this long before i put the site back up. But I got lazy, so I hope you can still enjoy the montage.

Definitely a hard earned montage from cameras breaking, injuries, heat and many other things. But, we’re back and running strong and we finished this montage for you guys.
